Description
As a therapist, I’m collaborative, authentic, and curious. I’ve also been described as approachable, non-judgmental and empathetic. Ensuring that I’m meeting you where you’re at in life and building a strong therapeutic alliance is what I strive for. I’ll bring an integrative approach to sessions, incorporating your individual differences and needs. I also bring an understanding that our relationships, environments, pasts, and the systems we operate within matter and impact our well-being. I’ll work with you to help you gain insight and feel empowered while incorporating mindfulness-based practices.
My clinical interests include treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders and difficulties with body image, self-esteem, personality disorders, and trauma. My past career in Human Resources also gives me unique insight into workplace-related stressors. But most importantly, I am committed to making sure you are in a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, encourages healing, and offers growth.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching sports (March Madness is the best time of year), cooking/baking, reading, being active, interior decorating, and organizing just about anything.
I am a current graduate student, working towards an additional master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I am working under the licensed supervision of Laura Hagen.
In addition to the insurances listed below, I'm in network with Medical Assistance, HealthPartners, UCare, Hennepin Health, America's PPO and HealthEZ.
