Description
Queer Affirmative Therapy (QAT) was born out of the need to have additional spaces that centers and prioritizes the mental health needs and wellbeing of Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer plus (LGBTQ+) communities. We envision a practice (literally and figuratively) where clients can see themselves reflected in the therapists and healers they work with, where safety is a priority, and healing is rooted in social justice.
