A Panama native and proud military child, Prishna Jimenez-Cassan is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. With a passion for helping others, she served as an educator for twelve years, followed by a school counselor for four years in the Dallas Independent School District. She has extensive experience working with individual & group counseling, crisis intervention, and risk prevention.
Prishna believes that all individuals have an opportunity to heal and live a life filled with desire and purpose. Her goal is to establish a therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to embody their fullest potential and learn coping skills to leverage their strengths and limitations.
She is passionate about helping individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-discovery, self-esteem, and grief. She also supports individuals with bipolar, ADHD, ADD, and Schizoaffective Disorders. Her free-flowing approach allows her to customize counseling techniques suited to each client's unique needs.
Prishna earned her Masters in Counseling from Lamar University. She received her Bachelor's degree in English and Political Science from the University of Texas Arlington. Prishna values spending time with her husband and four children, and also enjoys traveling, roller-skating, and painting in her spare time.
