I’m a board-certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; I obtained my graduate degree from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University. I have been in the healthcare profession for over ten years, which has prepared me to manage my patients with evidence-based treatment modalities.
I bring compassion and commitment to my practice of caring for the holistic needs of my patients, which entails a comprehensive assessment and evaluation of the patient’s psychological, emotional, and physical well-being. Also, to create a plan of care that will optimize a favorable outcome in a realistic goal-oriented length of time with the patient’s buy-in.
My professional services and specialization encompass Childhood/Adolescent and Adult Diagnosis and Treatment, including Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Suicide Prevention, and schizoaffective disorder. I also provide teaching and education relating to medication management and compliance.
