In my opinion, relationship is the most important aspect of healing work. From the moment you walk into the room with me, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, valued, held, and respected. Majority of the work I do is around helping folks step into and embrace their full authenticity and the inner freedom that comes from living as your whole self. I work specifically with folks of color, helping them to navigate and explore their own identities, identify and maximize their strengths, and find and live their own truths.
I consider myself to be a holistic practitioner, and spend a lot of time focusing on how we create balance, ease, and growth in our lives. My own spirituality is a large part of my identity and has shaped the ways in which I practice as a healing professional. Through my personal experiences, I have learned to cultivate my own unique form of spiritual practice and utilize that as a strength and resource. Using what I’ve learned, I help clients explore their own practices and ideas around spirituality in an effort to help them connect more with self to find a sense of grounding and inner strength. As an intuitive healer, I integrate mind/body work, mindfulness, spiritual/energy work, and other more traditional modalities such as narrative therapy, interpersonal therapy, and attachment and multicultural theory to curate a unique experience for each client.
With me, therapy is a collaborative, client-centered process where the client plays an active role in goal setting and treatment. I don’t believe that therapy has to look one way or that the “rules” that apply to traditional therapy are in the best interest of all participants. I am a full person in the room who holds space for you to come as your full self as well. My gifts lie in assisting clients with BIPOC identity development/exploration, trauma, depression, spiritual development, grief/loss, life purpose exploration, and life transitions.
I hope that we can work together to help you find empowerment, gain insight, and live your most authentic life!
