PlayfulLeigh Psyched, a place for playful socioemotional wellness and development, is an expansive telehealth practice founded in 2018, by a Black ciswoman psychologist. PlayfulLeigh Psyched provides therapeutic services infused with cultural humility, social justice, and trauma focus in the DMV and Delaware, Missouri, Missouri, and California. We specialize in serving the Black community including adult Black women, children, infants and young children, perinatal mental health folks, and survivors of trauma in languages of English and ASL.
Our clinicians are trained in PCIT, EMDR, CPP and several others. Please ask about our social justice scholarship for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy if you have a child needing services between 2 and 6 years old.
