“Hakuna Matata!” is one of my favorite phrases… not because we don’t have issues, but because we all do! I am passionate about helping others learn how to better manage these issues and feel better able to take on the world!

I use evidence-based practices to help you change your negative or harmful patterns of behavior, thinking, and to achieve personal growth. I tend to use an integrative approach to counseling, combining Person-Centered, Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), and Adoption Competency (TAC) techniques to ensure each individual receives treatment tailored to their specific needs.
I graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Psychology. I received my M.A. in Counseling from the University of Missouri Kansas City with an emphasis in Couples and Family. I have worked in the mental/behavioral health field for 14+ years with various populations.
