My "ideal" client is someone who is curious about who they are. I want to work with those who are feeling a little off, trauma survivors and everyone in between. Its such a privilege to watch people heal discover their authentic selves.
As far as technique, I love EMDR! But I also like to use CBT, solution focused therapy and mindfulness, and internal family systems. My public health degree informs my holistic lense- assessing your life from head to toe. My approach is eclectic, but at the core of my practice, I rely on real human connection to tackle real life.

I’m a transplant from SC where journey into therapy as a career began with being on the other side of the proverbial couch. In 2013 I received a BS in Psychology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I have always attributed my ability to handle the stressors of undergraduate school to my own regular participation in therapy. I relocated to NC in 2016 where that positive experience inspired me to then seek my Masters in Social Work and Masters in Public health at the University of North Carolina which I finished in 2018. I’ve been in the community mental health field providing in-home services to youth and their families. I’m excited to assist you on your journey as I take my own next steps as I enter into the private practice setting. I like to work with people between the ages of 16 and 55.
