Description
In the rush of life, we can experience stress, feel anxious, and have difficulty adjusting to new circumstances. Often, we are so used to taking care of others, we forget to tend our own gardens. Whether your issues stem from challenges with relationships, everyday life stressors, or your career, being able to recognize where to find support can be hard. Working with a counselor is an investment in yourself. We will work together to help you create a better understanding of yourself, what you want, and how to achieve your goals.
I practice from a person-centered perspective providing a warm and genuine environment, for you to work through your journey. You are the expert in your life and I will act as a guide to offer practical tools and nonjudgemental insights while incorporating evidence based techniques that best help you honor your true self.
My focus areas include working with mothers who feel overwhelmed, people struggling with career related issues, persons supporting family or a partner who is currently or formerly incarcerated, anxiety, and depression. I look forward to our work together in a safe and informal space.
