Description
Welcome to a brave space—where fear may walk in, but freedom walks out.
I’m Ngozi Ash, a Christian counselor, who is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC, CA) trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, faith-integrated, and deeply holistic.
This space is intentionally called brave—not just safe—because bravery can only exist in the presence of fear. It is a bold and sacred act to peel back the layers of pain, trauma, and emotional weariness, and allow God, in partnership with therapy, to breathe life over your spirit, soul, heart, and mind. I don’t take your bravery lightly. Whether you’re showing up in grief, confusion, exhaustion, or hope—I honor that courageous step.
I specialize in helping women and girls who are navigating:
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Depression
Anxiety
Chronic and acute stress
Self-worth, perfectionism, and shame
Domestic violence and sexual assault
Spiritual disconnection and racial trauma
I hold a womanist, intersectional lens in my work—recognizing how systems like racism, sexism, classism, and ableism uniquely affect the mental health of women and girls. Whether you’ve been silenced, dismissed, or overlooked, therapy with me is a space where you will be seen, heard, and held.
I believe healing is sacred work. And therapy, when done with compassion, wisdom, and truth, creates the conditions for transformation. This is not just about symptom relief—it’s about helping you remember who you are and rediscover your God-given strength.
You were created to be bold, confident, fearless, and free. Let’s work together to remove whatever is standing in the way of that truth.
