Description
In today’s climate you may feel alone, tense, and looking to make some changes. You may feel like it’s difficult to take a breath or notice your body responding to the events happening around you. You could begin to feel unsafe in your own body. Possibly noticing behaviors creeping back into your daily routine that are not helping you feel better. I promise you that you are not alone. I know what it feels like to want to let go of the behaviors and thoughts that no longer serve you. There is hope. I believe movement and learning to understanding your body will help you find your way to feeling better.
I've learned that recovery is a process that keeps on giving. As a Dance Movement Therapist I help people develop a new relationship with themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually by creating a new relationship to movement and their body. I guide people to reclaim their power by being able to listen to bodily cues, and gain a compassionate lens.
I counsel people to tap into their own creativity, release tension, shame or judgement and create new behaviors. Healing starts with the choice to act. You took your first step today by taking a moment to care for yourself and research your treatment options. Give yourself thanks for making that choice today. Let's connect and begin creating together.
