Vanessa has worked as a clinical therapist addressing specialty areas to include crisis intervention, sexual assault/abuse, interpersonal boundaries and self-concept. For the past 10 years she's worked with survivors of sexual abuse as well as individuals overcoming adverse childhood experiences. She has a significant amount of clinical experience working with individuals battling depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders.
Vanessa has engaged organizations, groups, and families around complex crisis management with solution focused interventions. Vanessa's clinical interventions have been largely successful due to her ability to create a safe space where clients can be vulnerable and open around troubling issues/situations.
Vanessa's core therapeutic philosophy involves engaging individuals in a meaningful and motivational manner that establishes a nonjudgmental rapport and encourages progress towards desired treatment outcomes.
