Morning Joy Counseling is currently conducting all sessions via Telehealth (Video Counseling Sessions). We are a group of 14 therapists and growing, here to help walk alongside you to help you overcome issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, and move to a place of achieving your goals!
We utilize treatment strategies that work and your therapist will work with you to help you take the necessary steps needed for you to get to where you want to be.
Melissa McLean, LPC, ACS has 15 years of experience in the field. She typically utilizes CBT and is currently in the process of developing more expertise in that area by way of a certification process with the Beck Institute, home of the founder of that treatment model. She will be receiving supervision during this process an is currently accepting clients experiencing primarily anxiety and/or depression.
Julia Hankerson, LCSW has 25+ years in the field and has had much success using such therapeutic interventions as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Relaxation Techniques and Behavioral Interventions. She will work with you to develop a plan that meets your individual needs and work on that plan together to start you on your journey towards feeling better.
