Description

Maybe you notice a change in behavior or emotions, perhaps your child's teacher suggested therapy, your family has experienced a major life event, or even a traumatic event, you are unsure of what "normal" development looks like, or you deeply desire a better relationship with your child. The truth is, play therapy and teen counseling can help your child and family heal from the stressors you are experiencing. I do treat adults as well; working through past traumas, improving relationships, navigating anxiety, and strengthening work/life balance.

Whether you are looking for parenting support, healing from past trauma, or aren't quite sure where to begin, I'm here to help you figure it out. I earned my certifications in play therapy and marriage and family therapy. This gave me the necessary training to help families heal when struggling with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma.

I believe it takes courage and hard work to change and that most often happens when we feel safe and supported. Relationships and connection are the foundations of a healthy life, and sometimes those are hard to find. I am happy to provide a free, brief phone consultation to see if we might work well together.
