Description

My name is Monique Miles, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and founder of Momentum Counseling and Consulting PLLC. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate the challenging terrain of adjustment, trauma and relationship issues. My mission is to provide a safe and supportive space for healing.

I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Clinical Mental Health with certifications in Marriage and Family Therapy and Play Therapy. I started my career in community mental health and have been working in private practice for over three years. I work with couples and individuals aged 16 and older.

I understand that addressing trauma or relationship concerns can be a complex and deeply personal journey. My goal is to empower you, or your teen, with the tools and insights you need to lead a more fulfilling and balanced life. I lead with Compassion and Empathy and focus on clients' resilience and potential for growth rather than solely on their struggles. I recognize that many individuals have experienced trauma and approach their care with sensitivity, understanding, and an awareness of trauma's effects on mental health. I try to instill a sense of hope in my clients, fostering a belief in their capacity for positive change.

Together, we will work towards your goals and create a path towards lasting change and healing. I am committed to breaking the stigma around mental health and empowering individuals to take control of their well-being. If you're ready to take the first step on your journey towards healing and self-discovery, I'm here to support you. Feel free to schedule a free consultation!

Warmly,
Monique Miles, LPC
