Welcome!
I am a licensed professional counselor who has been providing therapy services for over 6 years. I am licensed and trained to work with individuals, families, and groups in treating mental health and behavioral problems. My vast experiences include inpatient and outpatient mental health care, school counseling, grief counseling, individual sessions, group sessions in mental health and substance abuse, and family group sessions.
I use an eclectic therapeutic approach in order to meet the client’s direct needs, but my primary therapeutic use is evidence-based practice skills to include cognitive- behavioral therapy, mindfulness/ motivation, stress relief skills, client-centered therapy, and solution-focused counseling. I am also trained to provide therapy services as a safe space in the LGBQT community. I am also EMDR trained.
I am here to guide you, advise you, provide strong active listening skills, support, and direct you in finding the solutions to your struggles. My goal is to assist you with developing a sustainable treatment plan together in order to strive with success in working on your individual struggles step by step. I promise to use my best judgement and experienced clinical skill sets to direct you along your journey. I accept most major insurance's including UHC, UMR, OxFord Health Plans, Oscar, Aetna, Cigna, Optum EAP, Com Psych EAP, and Spring Health EAP. We are currently only accepting United Healthcare, Cigna, and Aetna insurances for Florida and Nevada residents. We are currently only seeing adults ages 18 and up at this time.
