MNParker Counseling & Consulting provides culturally sensitive counseling services to equip, enable, and empower individuals to confront stressful disruptions in their optimal functioning. Often these disruptions and the stress that results are due to, caused by, or exacerbated by racially noxious experiences that chronically tax their resources. The impact of this cultural stress is typically chronic even when not recognized. The cumulative impact of cultural stress leads to increased psychological distress that expresses itself as depression, anxiety, anger management, relationship disruption, job performance issues, imposter syndrome, and a whole host of other issues. For other individuals, life is simply difficult due to patterns of behavior or thought processes that lead to repetitive life situations that are less than ideal. Counseling @ MNParker CC offers an opportunity to explore the impact of cultural stressors, identify patterns of behavior, or examine repetitive life situations that prohibit individuals from engaging in life as emotionally healthy as possible. MNParker CC offers services to women, adults, children/adolescents, couples, and families virtually to enable clients more flexibility in accessing services. MNParker CC is efficient in a number of treatment modalities enabling services to be tailored to the needs of the client after a comprehensive assessment and a collaborative treatment plan. The ultimate goal is to enable clients to gain the tools to enable them to improve their day-to-day functioning, and their marital/familial relationships. MNParker CC currently offers private pay services with the availability of superbills for insurance reimbursement.
