Description
Ever feel consumed by worry, anxiousness or a need to have it all figured out? Hoping for more balance while dealing with life's challenges? Or maybe you just need someone to vent to?
I utilize a collaborative approach, providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to be able to openly express themselves and work through challenges that may be interfering with them reaching their goals. I seek to help clients better understand their circumstances, clarify their goals and values, notice/modify thought patterns as needed, and learn different techniques to use to better address concerns or challenges of note.
I do my best to offer a balanced perspective to my clients via constructive, compassionate feedback. Progress take time, but it all starts one step at a time. If you are open to the journey, I am here to help you along.
I have a wide range of experience working with adults with various mental health challenges. In particular, I specialize in working with adults struggling with anxiety, complicated life transitions, stressors related to work/school, self-esteem/image concerns, difficulties with assertiveness/boundary-setting and relationship issues. My clinical approach is eclectic, integrating a range of evidence-based practice methods (cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, etc).
I currently take Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts Health Plan, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and Aetna, but I can provide detailed billing statements if you have if a different insurance provider with out of network benefits and you plan to coordinate with your insurance company for reimbursement.
I offer flexible online scheduling with intermittent availability late mornings, afternoons and evenings Monday-Friday and every other Saturday morning (10AM-1PM).
