Mikayla Franklin is a licensed associate professional counselor in Georgia. She received her master's from McNeese State where she majored in Psychology and Sociology. She has provided therapeutic services in residential facilities, various communities, schools, and outpatient facilities. Mikayla treats children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns. As a military spouse, her passion is working with military families, helping them adjust to military life and overcoming the unique challenges that comes with the lifestyle. She also specializes in trauma recovery, early relational trauma, adult children of narcissistic parents, and self-esteem matters. In addition to her license, she holds several certifications. Mikayla utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy but often draws from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation.
