Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor that works with adults, children, and adolescents. Drawing from person-centered and strengths-based approaches, she works with clients collaboratively to facilitate personal growth, self-discovery and guidance towards healing and recovery. Michelle's sensitive and empathetic approach allows her to fully attend to each client's unique concerns and goals. She strives to help clients dealing with feelings of sadness, anxiety, low self-esteem, and stress management.
Michelle is a graduate of DePaul University and has earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience providing therapeutic care in an inpatient psychiatric hospital and a community residential program. Michelle also has experience working with children and adolescents in an outpatient counseling center and in a school-based setting where she provided individual therapy and co- facilitated mindfulness-based group sessions.
