Description
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a master's degree from an accredited university. I have been in the counseling field for five years with experience working with a diverse population of clients from community agencies, inpatient hospitalization, outpatient programs such as intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and private practice.
As a mental health provider, I embrace multiculturalism and understand the need to provide culturally responsive therapy because no two clients are the same and each person brings his/her/their own unique experience therapy.
I take an integrative approach that draws from different therapeutic modalities such as solution-focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, structural therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, experiential therapy, collaborative language therapy, Gottman, and Emotionally focused therapy. My stance as a therapist is non-judgmental, caring, supportive, understanding, and empathic.
