Description
I became a therapist, because I truly believe it is possible for everyone to improve their level of wellness. Providing a space for client’s to feel safe and truly seen is where that begins for me.
I operate from a trauma-informed strengths-based perspective. As such, my work always involves working collaboratively with clients to identify and leverage their own internal resources to assist in identifying the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that are no longer serving them with the goal of cultivating better insight, more productive coping strategies, and more effective tools for navigating life’s challenges.
In my work, I strive to create an environment where it is possible to slow down and begin working on clarifying the values that are important to you. In our fast paced world this is becoming increasingly difficult to do. I believe this is an important part of how we achieve authenticity in our lives. Authenticity is about being able to live life honestly with self-awareness and most importantly acceptance.
