We all go through challenging periods in our lives, but there are times when a therapist can be a crucial presence during a particularly difficult time. I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who can provide a safe space for you to unpack, examine and challenge negative thoughts or behaviors that leave you feeling stuck or unfulfilled. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process that provides a tremendous opportunity for individual growth. Our sessions will be an opportunity for you to gain clarity and put those insights into practice to create positive change. By using a creative mix of interventions, you will have the opportunity to own your progress and growth. I understand that you may be new to therapy or have been in treatment previously, so I can be sensitive to where you are in your journey.
My specialties include counseling adults with mood, anxiety and dissociative disorders, including survivors of trauma and abuse. I also work with individuals who are struggling with “adulting”, going through a career transition, or those seeking to avoid burnout by achieving a healthier work/life balance. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I hope we have an opportunity to decrease your sense of distress and increase your sense of well-being.
