Description
I am a Black woman and licensed professional counselor who approaches therapy through a womanist lens. My work is grounded in culturally responsive care that centers the wisdom, experiences, and needs of Black women and birthing people. I support clients navigating perinatal mental health concerns, caregiving transitions, and the emotional weight of showing up for others while trying to care for themselves.
In therapy, I hold space for your story without judgment. I recognize how systems of oppression can impact your mental health and well-being. Together, we work to name those influences, reconnect with your strengths, and create room for rest, clarity, and healing. I use narrative and relational approaches that honor your truth and help you reconnect with what matters most to you.
This is not therapy that asks you to shrink or adapt to systems that have caused harm. This is therapy that affirms your humanity, supports your healing, and invites your full self into the room. My goal is to walk with you as you move toward wholeness in a way that aligns with your values and contributes to your freedom.
