Description
Maurice Nicoleau graduated from New York University earning a Master of Social Work, and is currently a candidate at the Derner Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Institute of Adelphi University.
Maurice has a background working in the in-patient psychiatric unit of Queens Hospital Center where he collaborated with a team of specialists, to treat people suffering from schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and severe character and personality disorders. In addition, Maurice was a part of Queens Hospital Center’s Mobile Crisis Unit, where he responded to NYC Well Calls.
In private practice, Maurice has worked with people experiencing a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, complex trauma, and PTSD.
