Hey Sis… you good?

Have you been trying to hold it all together while struggling in silence? Feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or just going through the motions? Like you’re surviving instead of thriving? It’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to ask for help. You don’t always have to be the strong one.

I understand how tough it can be, and I’m here to help. I’m Marquita, a Duke University–prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering virtual telepsychiatry medication management across North Carolina. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, difficulty sleeping, and more—always with respect, clinical integrity, and your unique needs in mind.

As part of my practice philosophy, I do not prescribe certain controlled substances such as benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax). While no medication is without risk, my approach focuses on thoughtful, evidence-based options to support your long-term mental wellness goals.

I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where your story matters, your voice is heard, and your journey is respected. Mental health is a journey—and you don’t have to walk it alone. I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute intro call, via my website or email me at contact@unitedmentalwellness.com, to see if we’re a good fit. Seeking support is not weakness—it’s strength. Asking for help is part of honoring the fullness of who you are. Healing and wholeness are within reach. This is your time to pour back into yourself.
