My initial interest in the mental health field was sparked by my desire to help women explore and work through sexual barriers in order to promote a more fulfilling sex life. Since then, I have provided services to individuals with various sexual orientations, gender identities, and sexual backgrounds. I am a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). I've worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, substance use, and trauma. As a person-centered and sex-positive clinician, it is my goal to create a safe space for each client to express themselves without fear of judgment.
Regardless of your reason for seeking counseling services, caring for your mental health is just as important as caring for your physical health. Mental health affects how we socialize/interact with others, how we feel about ourselves, how we react to our emotions, and our overall psychological state. Seeking professional help to manage your mental health takes courage and I am here when you are ready!
