My goal as a therapist is to empower you through the therapeutic process by promoting your mental health and well being. Through therapy I create a space where you feel safe and comfortable while entrusting me as your therapist. I understand that life can be difficult and setbacks can be challenging, with the right support I believe you can get through this. I love helping people live their full potential by leading them on the path to discover hope, meaning and purpose.
My values as a therapist are held on the belief that decisions should be shared and that therapy is collaborative. Clients are empowered to overcome obstacles that have interfered with living a well meaningful life. I use evidence-based practices through a trauma-informed and a person centered approach.
I consider myself an eclectic therapist, since I like to use different approaches borrowed and adapted to help my clients. My favorite therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I have personally/professionally experienced people reduce stress, cope with complicated relationships, deal with grief, and face many common life challenges w/ CBT.
