-Accepting New Clients in the states of South Carolina, Maryland and Connecticut-
My name is Marcia’ Trejo and I’m the founder and owner of Pathway to Solutions, a coaching and counseling practice. My priorities in therapy are helping clients build awareness around negative thoughts and finding the drive to build skills needed to support change. I pride myself on being empathetic, authentic, and open. I will consider your life experiences, cultural background, and values to meet you where you are. My goal is to create the most positive therapeutic relationship and open atmosphere. I am an Army Veteran, and I have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I am also a certified transformation and life coach that empowers individuals to make and sustain positive life changes. I have training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Trauma focused- CBT. I have over 10 years of experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and issues around family, relationships, communication, and self-esteem. I have had the pleasure of helping a diverse range of clients, including Veterans, children, adolescents, adults, geriatric population, and families, while working in research, outreach, outpatient mental health, and inpatient psychiatry. Between sessions I will challenge you to continue working towards the change you want by completing outside of session work. I’m looking forward to working with you.
