Makela believes we all have different stories to tell, and she values providing a warm and non-judgmental space to listen and provide support and guidance. The most important qualities we desire as humans are to feel heard, valued, and respected. Makela not only helps teach couples and individuals these values, but she practices these values also within her therapy room. Her inspiration lies in helping individuals live authentic lives and being able to authentically connect within our relationships.
