Description
Life can be stressful and overwhelming. It makes sense to feel alone, lost, and unsure of what to do next. It's my job to help you find hope and direction in the midst of it all. I'm honored to help my clients find their way again and understand where they are and what they want from life. We will collaborate to find new ways of dealing with your life stressors, depression, anxiety, or chronic health conditions. I help couples learn to talk and actually hear each other. I witness grief, creating a space where it can be understood and overcome. Healing, growth, and change are possible.
I'm trained in social work, which means I have education and experience in mental health, communication skills, creating a safe therapeutic relationship, and organizing for causes that are important to me within my community. I create safety and trust by being compassionate, supportive of unique client needs, trauma informed, anti-racist, and body-positive.
My colleagues say I'm warm, steady, gentle-but-clear, experienced, and non-judgmental. I welcome all, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, or marginalization. Please call, email, or text my office to schedule an initial visit. Together, we will figure it out.
