Description

Lydia (Fehintola) Lawson, MFT is a Marriage and Family Therapist who creates a warm and calm environment so that her clients can show up as their authentic selves and feel seen, heard, and understood. By using a strengths-based approach this allows her clients to feel validated and that much more empowered to live and lead the lives they desire. Lydia believes healing is a journey and is passionate about meeting her clients where they are along their journeys. She uses a creative and integrative approach and uses various therapeutic modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and Emotionally Focused Therapy to fit what her clients bring to session.

Lydia is systemically trained and works with individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in working with individuals exploring their identity, self-worth and purpose, work-life balance, anxiety, and depression. She also works with couples from diverse backgrounds who are dealing with communication, disengagement, and life transitions.

She is particularly passionate about working with first-generation immigrant populations, millennials navigating “adulting” and men dealing with depression, anxiety, and career transitions. In her free time Lydia loves traveling with her friends and family, learning about different cultures, watching movies and Netflix.
