Description
***I am not taking new clients at this time, however, I am taking names for a waitlist to begin in September 2022. This statement was updated on 6/6/22***
My motto is to extend grace, encourage growth, and expect greatness. My mission is to provide an atmosphere that is warm, inviting, and non-judgmental (grace), allowing for self-discovery, insight and development of skills (growth), to navigate everyday life in a way that feels authentic in the journey toward continued success (greatness). This is done through individual and group therapy, psychological assessment, parent education, and consultation to schools and other organizations.
Seeking help for oneself can be challenging. That’s why I provide a strengths-based, calming, caring, supportive atmosphere that allows people to engage in the therapeutic or consultation process from a place of acceptance, peace and clarity. I want clients to feel understood and valued for who they are, even if they have made life choices that did not have the most positive outcome. I also believe that everyone is capable of growth and development if they are given the tools and are willing to adjust their behavioral patterns. I am committed to helping clients live a life that gives them a sense of pride and assurance that who they are, is all they need to be!
Some of the issues I can be helpful with include:
Anxiety Disorders; Adjustment/Acculturation in the workplace; Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder; Identity; Mood Disorders; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder; Parenting; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Race and Cultural Identity; Relationships; Self-Esteem; Social Skills; Spirituality; Stress Management
**I do not currently accept insurance. However, I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to their insurance company for “out-of-network” benefit coverage. Make sure to check your insurance policy regarding video (Telehealth) sessions.**
