My focus is to empower you to accomplish your goals and to help you live a more fulfilling life. I'm able to create a personalized experience based on your needs. The topics I've assisted clients with range from depression, anxiety, self esteem, women's issues, family dynamics, domestic violence, substance abuse and self harm. I thoroughly enjoy helping Black girls and women overcome challenges they are not able to work through alone.
I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and I received my Master's degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in December 2007. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with Black women who need an unbiased comfortable space to discuss life's challenges.
By working with various populations throughout the years, I have learned that there is no one way to approach each person. I'm able to incorporate your religious and spiritual beliefs if necessary and I utilize a client centered approach. As we work together in a professional setting as Black women, it is my hope you can be restored and have a sense of peace. I look forward to working with you!
