I believe in starting with you and your understanding of your presenting issues, thereafter working collaboratively through your emotional pain and/or discomfort. I utilize an eclectic style of treatment, utilizing various aspects of interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, stages of change, developmental and family systems theories to design the best approach to treatment that works for each individual or family focusing on their concerns. My area of expertise is in providing therapy to clients who manifest a wide range of problems related to their anxiety, anger, mood disorders, addictions, substance use disorders, especially individuals with dual diagnosis. As an Employee Assistance Specialist, I also treat individuals suffering with job-related and personal stressors.
