Tomeika S. (Leavell) Reeves, MSSW, LCSW, CCTP is the Counselor/Therapist and the Owner of Leavell Counseling, LLC. The name of the private practice derived from my maiden name; my practice being my namesake. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work in the states of Kentucky & Indiana as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Clinician. I am a member of the Kentucky Society for Clinical Social Work, Clinical Social Work Association, National Association of Social Workers and received an Advanced Psychotherapy Certification from Wayne Institute in 2019.
Leavell Counseling, LLC is a privately owned solo counseling practice. Its inception derived from an idea that we as a people need more than ever before. We need more spaces created for us to heal wounds developed from adverse and traumatic experiences. We need more room to acknowledge and address our pain. We need more opportunity for self—self-reflection and self-expression. We need more focus on our hopes, dreams, goals and plans to determine who or what may hinder us from our greatest potential and why. Leavell Counseling, LLC is committed to providing quality counseling services to individuals desiring more—more growth and more change. We recognize that our society is ever-changing as are the lives that we lead, which is why it is necessary to lean in and leavell up to meet the changes and challenges we may encounter.
