I work from a relational approach, which helps people to gain insight and understanding into the root of the problem. This means we explore relationships with family members, friends, romantic, etc which often helps to gain insight into presenting problems. My counseling style is an integrative approach of talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, along with mindfulness based practices including yoga and meditative breathe work. These methods bring awareness to the interconnectedness between an individual’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The use of these techniques can increase mood, and create positive change and forward movement.
