Welcome, I am Robyn Carson, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who is passionate about supporting women on their journey through healing to true self-acceptance and self- love. Life challenges can sometimes make us question ourselves and doubt our ability to get what we want and be who we want to be. It is my intention to provide a safe space to support you in exploring these experiences and any current difficulties and discovering new possibilities.
I am a native of Philadelphia Pa., and hold a Bachelor’s degree in social work from Georgia State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical concentration from Temple University. I have over a decade of experience working with diverse populations of women
throughout the perinatal period and am a trained doula and childbirth educator and have extensive training in PMADS (Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders). During my time working with women, I have supported them through life transitions including but not limited to,
becoming a new parent, balancing life, goals and parenthood, relationship and employment changes, and building self-esteem and self-confidence.
I approach therapy with a trauma informed, non-judgmental, warm and collaborative mindset and often use Person Centered, Solutions Focused, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modalities. I provide understanding and compassion and work to ensure that everyone I partner with builds on their innate strengths to reach the wellness and wholeness goals they are committed to obtaining.
