Hi! My name is LaToya and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Houston, Texas. My expertise include: grief and loss, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, coping skills and life transitions. I am also a certified nephrology social worker and I have extensive knowledge and experience working with adults diagnosed with end stage renal disease, chronic illnesses and chronic pain. I have practiced in multiple healthcare settings including home health, substance use/abuse mental health agencies and outpatient dialysis centers.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and interactive. I am person-centered focused and utilize a strengths based approach in practice. My goal is to provide a non-judgmental, comfortable, supportive and safe therapeutic environment where my clients will take away a feeling of being heard, seen and respected during our sessions.
