I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and caregivers in both a clinical and classroom setting. My clinical interests include working with multicultural issues, college transitions, family stress, parenting challenges, self-esteem issues, identity development, and overall life satisfaction.
I use a cultural-relational approach to therapy. This means that I honor your unique experiences while highlighting the similarities between us to strengthen our clinical work together. Within that paradigm, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based approaches. My goal is to empower you and equip you with the tools necessary to adjust and flow with the changes of your journey.
