Hello!
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor committed to helping girls and women of color, develop skills to evolve! I created [OOM], to help women tell their story and gain awareness of inner peace. My work focuses on targeting behaviors, habits, and beliefs to assist in guiding an oasis of mind. I have a special interest in the connectedness of cognitions, feelings, and behaviors. I encourage clients to recognize thought patterns and its relation to behaviors by teaching helpful techniques such as mindfulness and helpful self-talk. I encourage clients to manage the relationship of acceptance and change - by adopting helpful emotional and mental behavior changes; rather than reacting to things that cannot change.
I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients' reach their goals. I am passionate about providing quality counseling services and making a difference.
