LaChaya became a psychiatric nurse practitioner because she was disheartened by the stigma associated with mental illness. She realized that this stigma often prevents people from seeking services they need to improve their overall health and wellness. She now she works to empower her clients to take control of their mental health and, by extension, their lives. As a provider, Ms. Radcliff focuses on building strong relationships with clients and providing objective guidance with resources. She incorporates holistic approaches, lifestyle modification suggestions, brief psychotherapy, and if necessary, medication to help clients become the best version of themselves.
She worked as a registered nurse for seven years in a variety of settings including inpatient behavioral health, corrections, acute care, and outpatient medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder prior to deciding to become an advanced practice nurse. LaChaya specializes in treating individuals with depressive disorders, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, and ADHD.
LaChaya enjoys art, music, traveling, reading, and spending time with her daughters.
