In my experience as a therapist, I find that many people are looking for someone who will provide a safe space to talk, listen, and support them. My goal is to provide children, preteen/tweens, adolescents/teenagers, adults, and elders, as well as, families and couples with the skills and tools to help them reach their own personal goals. With these skills, you will become a better communicator, develop confidence, and utilize positive responses to daily life problems.
I am an African American LGBTQ female licensed therapist. I apply a blend of CBT, DBT, psycho-education, relaxation/mindfulness, and other holistic techniques to help reduce negative responses to life transitions, relationship problems, depression, and other issues so that you can access your inner strength to grow into the person you would like to become.
I provide an introspective collaborative approach to therapy in a positive and safe environment where you will learn to utilize skills, determine strengths, establish and complete goals as you move toward becoming your best self.
