Description

In times where racial trauma is incredibly high, our culturally and racially sensitive clinicians are here to support your mental health needs. We are a group of therapists who strive to do anti-racism work and ensure the mental health needs of black women and girls are met. We are a compassionate and caring team of social workers and mental health counselors who provide trauma informed care.

We are very aware that racial trauma is a significant issue in the black community. Our aim as therapists is to help support black women and girls who experience this on both an individual and systemic level. While we cannot always sympathize with the racial trauma in the black community, we can empathize.

Our therapists have experience with a multitude of mental health issues including but not limited to: PTSD, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ related issues, maternal health and wellness, and children’s behavioral and mental health. We work with our clients to determine treatment goals and connect you with whatever supports and resources may be necessary. We have experienced clinicians trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as other various forms of treatment. We are also able to connect our clients with therapists of color whenever that is needed.

We accept a wide array of insurances (including those listed and Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, & Allways Partners) and are also offering a sliding scale for individuals without insurance or insurances we are not currently in-network with. We welcome you to reach out to us with any questions you may have about our practice.
