Description

Hi, I’m Kristen. I believe therapy is an opportunity to grow and transform psychologically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that is free of judgment. I believe deeply in the inherent worth of each person and I am a culturally humble clinician who is respectful of my client’s beliefs.

I work from a psychodynamic/object relations framework and use many CBT based interventions to help my clients develop more adaptive coping skills, learn how to challenge and reframe negative thoughts, and explore and discover the source of their harmful beliefs. As a clinician, I believe my clients are the experts of their own lives, and it is my job to support, guide, and make recommendations, but ultimately this is their journey. Through this collaborative process, the client can learn how to take on more challenging aspects of their lives while enhancing their strengths.
