Hi! My name is Kourtni T.!
I am a limited license social worker focusing on interpersonal practice. I graduated with my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor in 2022; and I have experience in community mental health and medical social work.
I got into therapy because I know first-hand how transformative the experience can be, even when you don’t think you have a problem. Sometimes we can become so used to our own pain, that it becomes normal. That’s until someone takes the time to show you that maybe your “normal” was the problem the whole time.
Sometimes “it be like that”, but that doesn’t mean you have to accept it!
You don’t have to be stressed, sad, angry, or lonely; and your value in life isn’t solely based on what you can produce. My goal as your therapist is to help you redefine your normal to help you achieve your goals and build sustainable loving relationships.
