Description
I am Kortney Clinton, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Ph.D. candidate who prides herself in not only providing direct care – but researching topics, advocating for policy reform, and evaluating programs that impact Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). During the therapeutic experience, clients will engage in evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. We will create a space where unique experiences, perspectives, and obstacles are supported with value.
Are you overwhelmed with anxiety, depression, or struggle with personal identity, communication patterns, parenting styles, and relationships? Do you want to learn strategies to help you cope and manage your emotions? I have worked with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and life challenges for the last six years.
My therapeutic style is warm, non-judgemental, culturally aware, strength-based and client-centered to empower you to overcome obstacles that are holding you back from your full potential.
