Hello Peace and Prosperity,
I am the owner of Love Life Holistic Mental Heath Services. After graduating with Honors from Florida International University majoring in Psychology, with a Minor in Business, and special study Certificate in Women and Gender Studies; I continued my education at Florida International University obtaining my Masters Degree in Social Work, focusing on clinical therapy and addiction treatment. Simultaneously while becoming a Certified Department of Defense Sexual Assault Victim Advocate, fighting to help those that fight for us. I have served in the helping profession for over 10 years; working with board and diverse populations, as an advocate, mentor, speaker, consultant, and therapist.
I seek to help those looking for an alternative to psychotropic medication, learning positive coping mechanisms, adjusting to changes, and life skills. My area of expertise includes anxiety, depression, domestic violence, military/veteran, LGBTQA+ Issues, couple/marriage counseling, mediation. This is a judgment free zone.
My clients will take part in an interactive therapeutic process; where we factor in economical status , eating habits, hobbies, interest, goals, etc. I utilize a number of theoretical approaches depending on each clients specific needs; some practice models include: cognitive behavioral, narrative, task-centered, Solution- focused, and crisis intervention .
