I work with individuals who have mild to severe anxiety and depression. Furthermore I work with women who are mothers who struggle to maintain and find balance. As a doula and licensed clinician and not to mention mother, I understand the mental wear that being a mother (as well as a wife, professional, stay at home mom, single mother, caretaker of other relatives, etc) can have on a woman. And how we often lose ourselves in juggling these roles. I aim to help moms to redefine and find themselves again, capitalizing on self care and not feeling guilty about doing so. I also work with couples in all stages of their relationship; whether it be in the dating phase, premarital, newly weds, seasoned or those dealing with infidelity or who may be on the verge of divorce. Furthermore, I work with couples who are new parents, whether it's the 1st or 5th child, to assist them with the tools needed to manage bringing home a new baby. As we know babies are blessings but they definitely change the dynamic of couple's and knowing certain tools to keep the partnership strong is key in giving your baby the best start in life. I am Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1, 2 and 3 trained and a Gottman leader and educator for The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work (SPMMW) and Bringing Baby Home (BBH). I also offer SPMMW and BBH as workshops. Clients can host one of these workshops or couples can attend one of the workshops I host! Both are statistically proven to improve your relationship.
