Description

Having been on the other side of therapy, I want to highlight your strength and courage in taking this next step; sometimes seeking help is half the battle. Life poses many challenges, and I believe we should never feel we must grin and bear it or figure things out on our own. It would be an honor to assist you as you continue to rise to the occasion.

I am a strong supporter of intersectionality, so I believe all layers of a person's identity should be considered and tended to. I aim to celebrate the wins as we move forward. I will also challenge you, offer a source of accountability, and help keep you centered with the task at hand. I cannot promise that it will be easy, or even immediate, but I can guarantee the seeds we plant together today will have a fruitful impact on the growth you aim to see across many tomorrows.

I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Illinois. I am a graduate of the Master’s in Counseling program at DePaul University, specializing in Clinical Mental Health. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Vanderbilt University.

Client Focus: Teens and adults managing concerns related to anxiety, depression, work-life balance, cultural and systemic oppression, communication, coping skills.
