Hi Im Kesha ! I believe in a strengths-based approach that places the client as the expert in their life. My role as a clinician is to collaborate with the client to support their growth and healing. I work from an integrative and culturally sensitive approach to support individuals and families. Healing is a collaborative effort and as an active clinician, I support clients in identifying their treatment goals. I pull from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma –Focused CBT, to create an individualized approach for each client and situation. I work with a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety and depressive disorders, life transitions, familial issues, trauma-related symptoms, and stress management. My focus is on overall, holistic wellness. I am currently pursuing a yoga teacher training.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Domestic Violence Professional. I have experience working with families, adolescents, and individuals.
